Lake Glenville was completed in October 13, 1941. The size is 4.5 miles long, 1470 acres, and has 26 miles of shoreline. Maximum depth of lake at flood level is 125 feet.  At 3500+/- feet, it is the highest lake east of the Mississippi River and major streams such as Norton Creek, Cedar Creek, Pine Creek and Mill Creek feed the lake.
